Application and Registration (4 sub-boards) This is where you post your applications for the character you would like to portray. Also seen here, are ALL of the claims including face, name, and where you would sign your character up. Be sure to look here.
First Floor (5 sub-boards) Muggle Studies classroom, Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, History of Magic classroom, McGonagall's Office, Hospital Wing.
Gryffindor House (2 sub-boards) Founded by Godric Gryffindor, located behind the portrait of the Fat Lady on the Seventh Floor of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to enter it, which is spoken to the portrait. A circular hole is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a circular room where Gryffindor students can relax after a long day of studying. The common room is full of squashy armchairs, tables, and a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. A window looks out onto the grounds of the school, and a large fireplace dominates one wall.

Ravenclaw House (2 sub-boards) Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, located on the west side of Hogwarts, the staircase leading up to the common room is presumably located on the fifth floor, and is the location of the Ravenclaw common room and dormitories. The entrance to the room is at the top of a spiral staircase, and is a door without doorknob or keyhole but a bronze knocker in the shape of an eagle. In order to enter the room, a person must answer a question asked by the eagle knocker; if they answer incorrectly, they must wait for someone else who gets it right.

Hufflepuff House (2 sub-boards) Founded by Helga Hufflepuff, located behind a still-life portrait of a fruitbowl near the kitchens of Hogwarts Castle. A password is presumably required to enter it, which is spoken to the portrait. A hole or passage-way is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a room where Hufflepuff students can relax after a long day of studying. The common room is full of fat armchairs, yellow hangings, and probably a bulletin board where school notices, ads, lost posters, can be posted.

Slytherin House (2 sub-boards) Founded by Salazar Slytherin, located behind a wall in the cellars of Hogwarts. A password spoken to the wall is required to enter it; whereupon a passage is revealed leading to the common room -- a low-ceilinged, dungeon-like room with greenish lamps and chairs. This dungeon extends partway under the lake. The common room has lots of low backed black and dark green leather sofas with buttons, skulls, and dark wood cupboards. It has quite a grand atmosphere, but also quite a spooky, cold one.

On the Grounds
Courtyard Where students can come before, between, after classes to hang out and possibly do some homework.
The Black Lake A large body of water located to the south of the castle. It is about half a mile in diameter and the Hogwarts plumbing network drains into it. It is home to a Giant Squid, grindylows, and a colony of Merpeople. The lake was also used as the site of the Second Task of the Triwizard Tournament.
Forbidden Forest The Forbidden Forest, also known as Dark Forest or Black Forest, borders the edges of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry grounds. As its name suggests, it is strictly off limits to students - except in the case of detention, or Care of Magical Creatures lessons that occasionally take place there. Of course, with the various dangerous creatures living in the Forest, few students would probably even want to venture into it.
The Whomping Willow Very valuable, very violent species of magical plant. Whomping Willows attack anyone and anything that comes within range of its branches. The limbs of the plant function as arms and any damage to them must be treated in much the same way.
The Quidditch Pitch The shape of an oval, five hundred feet long and a hundred and eighty feet wide, with a small central circle of approximately two feet in diameter. At each end there are three hooped Goal posts of different heights, surrounded by a scoring area. The early barrel-goals had been replaced by baskets on stilts, but whilst these were practical, they did carry an inherent problem: there was no size restriction on the baskets, which differed dramatically from pitch to pitch.
The Greenhouses (2 sub-boards) The Greenhouse III is where Herbology classes are taught to every student, except first-years by Professor Sprout. The room has dangerous species, such as the Venomous Tentacula, as it is for the advanced students. First year students take the class in Greenhouse I, which has no dangerous material.
The Hog's Head Located a block or so off High Street, the Hog's Head Inn has been a fixture of Hogsmeade for hundreds of years. A worn-out wooden sign hangs over the door, advertising with a "wild boar's severed head leaking blood onto the white cloth around it". It's known for its cheapness, at least relative to the Three Broomsticks down the street, and attracts a "shall we say... interesting clientele," at least according to Albus Dumbledore.
Hogsmede Station A "tiny, dark platform" where the Hogwarts Express ends its journey north from Platform Nine-And-Three-Quarters. The station is located near the lake, and from there a road extends around the lake to Hogwarts Castle. The station is actually quite a distance from the town itself, being on the opposite side of the Hogwarts grounds

Honeydukes Sweetshop A sweetshop, owned by Ambrosius Flume and his wife, which is filled with "shelves upon shelves of the most succulent-looking sweets imaginable". In addition to the standard wizarding candy that is sold there, the owners also make their own fudge (PA8) and chocolate (PA12). For obvious reasons, the shop is quite a popular destination for Hogwarts students when visiting Hogsmeade on the weekends.
Madam Puddifoots A small, cramped tea shop with decor on the tacky side of frilly (such as floating golden cherubs throwing pink confetti), located ust off High Street. The only Hogwarts students who seem to patronize the place are trysting couples.

Post Office The only wizarding post office we ever hear of, where at least three hundred owls, from Great Grays to tiny Scops ("Local Deliveries Only"), wait to carry messages. They sit on shelves that are color-coded, depending on how fast you want your letter to get to its destination. It is also referred to as an "owl office"
The Shrieking Shack Falsely rumored to be "the most haunted building in Britain," the Shrieking Shack is a favorite stop on any Hogsmeade visit (PA8). However, the wails that were once heard emanating from this creepy building were not in fact ghosts, but rather Remus Lupin transformed into a werewolf. The shack, in fact, was built when he came to Hogwarts, allowing him to transform a safe distance away from the other students
The Three Broomsticks A well-known inn and a frequent haunt of Hogwarts students. It's warm and comfortable, is packed, and is a great spot to drink butterbeer, although they also serve firewhisky, gillywater, mulled mead, red currant rum, and even cherry syrup and soda with ice and an umbrella. Run by Madam Rosmerta.
Zonko's Joke Shop Zonko's is a favourite place for Hogwarts students to shop however now... it is boarded up. No selling is being done here, it's dark and barren.
Residences (5 sub-boards) Here is where you can post, if your characters going home for the holidays or weekends. This is also where those graduated students can find homes, apartments with roommates, small houses to live outside of Hogwarts.
Ministry of Magic The Ministry of Magic is the governmental authority for the Wizarding world in Britain. It has now been taken over by Death Eaters, Snatchers are working to catch runaway muggleborns and have seen out decrees that they will be sold as servants to pureblood families.

Azkaban Prison A wizard's prison located on an island in the middle of the North Sea. Using certain Charms, the prison is hidden from the muggle world, and is unplottable. It gained a reputation as a horrible place, given that its former guards, Dementors, cause great suffering to those in their proximity; most prisoners eventually went insane and slowly died under their influence. Since 1717, using any of the three Unforgivable Curses on another human being has carried a punishment of a life sentence in Azkaban (unless there is sufficient evidence that the caster did so under the influence of the Imperius Curse).

Diagon Alley (2 sub-boards) Tapping just the right brick in the wall behind the Leaky Cauldron in London ("Three up...two across...") will reveal an archway which is a portal into Diagon Alley, a long cobbled street where is to be found a strange and exciting assortment of shops and restaurants. It is unquestionably the hub of commerce in the British wizarding world, with virtually every wizarding business stationed there. Consequently, the demand for space here is steep, and rent costs "loads of Galleons"
St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries St. Mungo's Hospital is the primary wizarding hospital in Britain. Located in an abandoned department store in London, the hospital's Healers treat wizards for all sorts of magic-related illnesses and injuries, and in extreme circumstances has been known to treat Muggles as well. The hospital's logo is a wand and a bone, crossed (OP29), and donations are welcome.
The entrance to St. Mungo's is concealed behind an abandoned red-brick London department store called Purge and Dowse, Ltd. on a Muggle street.

It is 1997 and things have drastically changed within the Wizarding World especially Hogwarts. Death Eaters have infiltrated and taken control of the Ministry after killing Rufus Scrimgeour, muggleborns are being rounded up, those who have graduated from school are being captured (unless in hiding) and sold off to work as servants to pureblood families, muggleborn students in school are trained to be servants, are used as test subjects for Potions and Defense against the Dark Arts (Dark Arts). Halfbloods are treated fairly better by being able to attend classes regularly however those who rebel are sentenced to muggleborns level. Purebloods are given a grace in Voldemort’s eyes because of their status except for those who are blood traitors, as for Harry Potter, he attends school under watchful eye especially once Lord Voldemort found out that the Boy-Who-Lived is a Horcrux. If he is killed, then it would make the Dark Lord much weaker and he cannot allow that to happen so he is protected however, Dumbledore’s Army tries to meet in secret but it’s not very easy.
